2026 Winter Camp Highlights – Looking Back at Unforgettable Moments

The 5-week Winter English Camp held at Odyssey International School has successfully concluded, leaving countless precious memories behind. Through a weekly program filled with various themes and activities, students were able to enhance their English skills, build confidence, improve communication abilities, and foster collaboration skills.

Winter English Camp – A Time to Meet New Friends and Learn English with Native Teachers

The Winter English Camp was a meaningful opportunity for children to explore Vietnamese culture, naturally improve their English skills through various class activities, and build new friendships with international school students. At Odyssey, students didn’t just learn English with native teachers; they had the chance to grow joyfully in a creative and engaging learning environment.

Experience of “Tet Holiday” Festival

During this year’s Winter Camp, we were fortunate to coincide with Vietnam’s traditional holiday, “Tet Holiday.” The school organized a grand festival filled with the atmosphere of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

At the event, students tasted various traditional foods representative of the Tet festival and actively participated in Vietnamese folk games, experiencing the local culture firsthand. This activity was especially meaningful as parents also joined in, making the time even warmer and more special.

 Meaningful Field Trip

As part of the 2026 Winter English Camp, a hands-on field trip was organized for the students in the Hoi An-Da Nang region.

This program was a special activity designed for camp participants, allowing them to experience and understand local culture by seeing, feeling, and experiencing it firsthand in an “open classroom” setting.

Learning outside the classroom in a new environment provided students with broader perspectives and deeper learning, enriching the camp experience.

Graduation Ceremony with Emotional Moments

The final week of the Winter Camp concluded with a warm and memorable graduation ceremony. The ceremony was held in the very classroom where students had spent their time together learning and sharing, making it a more meaningful occasion.

The event was not just about handing out certificates; it was a special moment where students, teachers, and friends reflected on the journey, sharing laughter and emotions. The precious memories made during the camp will remain with the students as invaluable experiences.
